Yes. The Free edition has no time limit, no credit card and no limit on projects. It includes every design feature; only FEM structural calculation needs the Engineer edition. The Free edition may show small announcements in the future.

Press Upgrade plan in the app (or pick the plan when you sign up). The request goes straight to our team, who contact you and switch your licence – the app picks up the new edition automatically.

Engineer and Enterprise are invoiced yearly in advance – for example Engineer 96 € and Enterprise 228 € per user per year. We send the invoice when your licence is switched on. Prices are excl. VAT. Finnish customers pay Finnish VAT (25.5 %). Businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT ID are invoiced without VAT (reverse charge). Customers outside the EU are invoiced without Finnish VAT. Business customers give the company name and VAT ID when they ask for the upgrade.

One user account is one licence. You can use it in the browser and in the desktop apps on your own computers.

No. A licence is personal: one named user, signed in on at most two devices at a time. Signing in on another device signs out the one used longest ago, and a licence moved between devices too often is stopped. For a team, every user needs a licence – ScaffPilot Enterprise is the team plan.

Every file records the edition and the version it was saved with, and so do its PDFs and IFC files. A project made with Free stays a Free project when someone else opens it in Engineer or Enterprise: no FEM calculation, and its outputs say ScaffPilot Free version. When you upgrade yourself, your own projects get your new edition.

Enterprise is the team plan for companies where several people use ScaffPilot: every user has a licence on one company account, with a shared company workspace for projects, user management and an overview of licences and devices. It also includes everything in Engineer and the full scaffold business lifecycle: projects, quotations and offers, rental and warehouse management, logistics, invoicing and reporting – for several companies and business units.

ScaffPilot users ask for quotations straight from their scaffold design – rent, erection and dismantling of the scaffolding, or material to buy. Every request goes to all suppliers in the site's country that offer what is asked; the user does not pick them. With ScaffPilot Supplier you see who is asking – name, company and contact details – and the full project, and reply directly. 10 requests a month are included per user, and every 10 more cost 5 € a month.
