The same ScaffPilot as in the browser, as a single small app. Native file dialogs, keeps working on site without a connection, and updates itself.
Getting started
- Create your free account if you do not have one yet.
- Start the app and sign in with the same email and password. Your licence and edition are checked automatically.
- The app checks for new versions when it starts and offers to update itself – one click and a restart.
First start
- Windows: SmartScreen may warn about a new app – choose More info › Run anyway.
- macOS: unzip and move ScaffPilot to Applications. The first time macOS says “Apple cannot check it for malicious software” – click OK, then right-click ScaffPilot › Open › Open. On macOS 15 and newer: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Open Anyway. After that it starts normally.
- Linux: make the file executable (
chmod +x) and run it. - ScaffPilot runs in one window at a time. If it says “Unable to start server”, ScaffPilot is already open – switch to that window.
